ABOUT

Ligija Židonytė is a Lithuanian-born actor based in Bath, formally trained in both theatre and screen performance. Drawn to the raw, gritty, truths of the human experience, Ligija approaches each role with depth and empathy. A storyteller at heart, she has recently graduated from Bath Spa University, following her earlier training at Conservatoire EAST. She has begun creating her own work- most notably producing and directing her debut short film Witch.Outside of acting, Ligija’s passions extend to social activism- she has long been an advocate for youth empowerment and anti-bullying initiatives, having worked with the Breckland Youth Advisory Board since 2019. Her dedication to social reform earned her the Junior Citizen Award for her contributions.Uniting her activism and artistry has always been at the heart of Ligija’s work.
